We build intelligence into Infinera?s fiber optic networks with innovative and smart solutions. We create the software that enables Infinera?s customers to build complex and increasingly large transmission networks. New advanced features like automatic resource provisioning and deployment of network services pose new challenges for us.
Agile and lean methods play and important role in our daily work. This helps us develop better products while having fun on the way.
We value feedback and seek to gather input from stakeholders and our customers.
We like to try out new tools and technologies. Today we use technologies such as Java 8. Gradle, Git, Docker, Jenkins, Vagrant, Angular, JavaScript, Html5, Bootstrap, RabbitMQ, AspectJ, Spring Boot and Json.
As an experienced SW System Architect you will:
• Participate in day to day software development in one of our scrum teams
• Take part in the entire development process from exploring requirements to delivery.
• Take a leading role in system design discussions and constantly strive to share your knowledge and experience with others.
• Translate business needs to technical requirements and implementation.
• Design and develop new features.
• Improving existing subsystems.
• Together with your team take overall responsibility for the team?s deliveries.
What do we expect from you?
• You are an expert in software development and constantly keep up to date on the latest technologies within software development.
• You master Java as your coding language and feels comfortable in Linux server environments.
• You have deep understanding of algorithms, data structures and complexity up and beyond programming language implementation and semantics.
• You have experience designing robust, highly scalable systems.
• You take a leading role for finding solutions to Infinera?s challenges by yourself or together with your team.
• You strive for clean code and value the power of designing for testability.
• You want to work in an agile environment.
• You want to automate to avoid repeated manual work.
• You have a Master?s degree in engineering, computer science or other technical related field.
• You have good knowledge in both Swedish and English.
