Project Controlling and Analysis is a group within Business Control (XK) and the Corporate unit, Corporate Management & Venture Business (X), which also includes departments such as the Scania Project Office, Strategy and Business Development, Scania Way Office and Sustainable City Solutions.
We are looking for an ambitious and experienced controller to join our team in Södertälje. We offer a position in an exciting and dynamic environment with the opportunity to make an existing broad network even broader.
You will act as the financial expert within global and cross functional projects developing new products concerning trucks, busses, engines and related services. The international environment give you the possibility to collaborate with colleagues from the VW Truck and Bus different members. Internally at Scania you will collaborate with all different disciplines eg: Sales, After Sales, Purchasing, Production, R&D and Finance.
The main focus for you as an experienced project controller is to in close collaboration with the project managers be the adviser and coach to the project manager in financial matters. You will represent the Scania finance representative in Cross brand projects within the Group. You ensure delivering of the financial information in each project which includes:
Project calculations in different stages in the projects. Example target setting, status reporting and follow-up
Reporting and presenting results to management and other stakeholders
Challenge the project team to assure a successful project execution
Develop and improve current processes within project controlling
Add hoc questions
Your profile
We are looking for a positive person with excellent analytical and social skills. You have a holistic picture of the business but are not afraid to dig into details. You are comfortable navigating between technical and financial topics.
As an individual you are independent and driven, an excellent communicator and a team-player. You naturally focus on continuous improvements and fight for achieving successful results.
Earlier knowledge of leadership as an manager or in other leading positions is meriting. Also direct knowledge of the Scania Business is meriting. This combined with your high degree of social competence enable that this job will be a success for you!
You have a masters' degree in Business and Administration or Industrial Engineering and Management (or similar). You are fluent in English and Swedish.
