Cutting edge Hardware Design and development

The department Enclosure Solutions is responsible for Enclosures and Mechanics for Radio and Filter Modules within Ericsson. The design includes mechanical, thermal and cable products and exist in many different shapes from small outdoor and indoor modules (Radio, Filter, Digital, Power,.. ) to large cabinets.
The department now hire more mechanical designers mostly in the outdoor module unit. As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will be an important member of our team and participate in various tasks within the design and maintenance of mechanics. The role lets you participate in predevelopment and prestudies, as well as integrated product development projects together with other departments within Ericsson and global subcontractors.
The role will offer you many opportunities to grow, both within the field of engineering and as a professional. Some of your responsibilities will be performed individually, but most of them will include frequent interactions with other persons and competence areas both locally and globally.
We are looking for a creative engineer with an interest in efficient mechanical design solutions and we don't regard it as a disadvantage if you have an interest in industrial design or material technology.
You combine creativity, drive and a sense of focus with a quality-conscious mind, and have a track record that shows us that your eagerness to contribute never let you compromise your respect for others and good team work.
Your assignments will let you cooperate with experts in environmental aspects (thermal, structure, corrosion, EMC), an area in which you have an understanding of. You have high knowledge of an MCAD tool, preferably Pro/ENGINEER. You are a good communicator who can express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing, and you are an experienced user of MS Office applications.
