We are looking for Java developers with several years of experience working with web applications in general and eCommerce solutions in particular.

The customer develops and operates a very large retail website.

The Java developer will work in an implementation team. The team is lead by a team lead/Scrum master and consists of a team architect, developers, testers and requirement analysts.

Tasks:

• Participate in sprint planning meetings where requirements are split into development tasks and planned for the upcoming sprint.
• Define the best solution for and implement requirements specified in user stories or tasks.
• Together with the rest of the team and the architects make sure that the solution is robustly built and well documented.
Tools & processes:
• IntelliJ or Eclipse.
• Subversion.
• Jira / Greenhopper.
• Scrum.

Competence Requirements:

• Experience from working as a developer in large web/eCommerce projects.
• JSP / JSTL / Taglibs.
• Spring Framework (Min 2.0 and annotations).
• MVC Frameworks (ie JSF, Struts, SpringMVC).
• SQL.
• Web or Integration development.

Nice to have:

• Analysis & Design experience.
• Working experience on the Hybris platform.
• Ajax / Rest / WebServices.
• DHTML, AJAX, jQuery, Web services.
• Service oriented architecture.
• EAI, Enterprise Application Integration.
• Test driven development.
• Oracle Coherence or other clustering / cache solution.
• Database design and development on Oracle.
