hela Sverige H&M in Stockholm is looking for experienced Footwear technologists who want to broaden their horizons and grow with an exciting and successful company.
Working as a Footwear technologist at H&M means you will be part of developing H&M Shoe range.
You will work at our division at Ladies department with a team of buyers and designers to create new collections.
Minimum requirements:
Education:
• At least 3 years relevant education, HND or BA level
Professional skills:
• At least 5 years of working as Footwear technologist or similar.
• Full knowledge of footwear construction and production processes including assessment of new unit mould,
• heels and blue prints
• Extensive knowledge of lasts and last measurements
• Expert and confident in fit assessment to carry out detailed footwear fitting and risk analysis across the range
• Knowledge and understanding of risk assessment and test
• Of Far East travel and factory relationship building
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of Illustrator, or other computerized design program.
• Knowledge of PDM, product management system.
• Speak and write fluent English.

• Great interest in keeping up to date with technical developments.
• Ability to review products and identify risks in wear and production.

• Great energy and drive, always work towards improving the product.
• Team player, but also the ability to work on your own initiative.
• Open minded and positive attitude.
• Have a great sense of fashion and style and keep yourself up to date with the latest trends.
To achieve in the role:
• Monitor market developments and overall trends.
• An ongoing review of existing lasts, and in cooperation with design and production team develop and approve new lasts, to ensure the best fit for the H&M customer.
• Manage H&M foot, measurements, standards and last library.
• Support buying office concept teams with necessary technical knowledge.
