The Product Simulation and Verification Wheel Loader Group in Eskilstuna is looking for a new employee. The group consists of individuals who work with simulation or verification in different disciplines and you will be part of a local team that focuses on analysis of noise and vibration.
Product focus is Wheel Loaders, but we also provide tech support to Haulers. The local way of working involves close cooperation with the organization's various design departments and associated testing.
Duties
• Apply established simulation methods in noise and vibration to predict the features of our products
• Participate in a cross-functional design teams
• Drive the development of new methods and processes
• Coordinate calculation-related activities in product development projects
• Review design solutions and assist in the target setting of noise and vibration

Qualifications

The team performs analyzes in acoustics, structural dynamics, mechanical environmental resistance, rigid dynamics and human vibrations. We would like to see you have years of experience and have the ability to act independently in one or more of these areas.
A large part of our efforts take place in the early stages of development projects, as only digital models and draft concepts are available. We are therefore looking for a team member with good abstraction skills and a natural ability to guide the design groups with concrete advices.
We have the most common analysis tools for modeling, signal processing and simulation of sound and vibration, such as ANSYS, LMS Test.Lab, ADAMS and MATLAB. Confidence with FEM / BEM / SEA technology and rigid mechanics is desirable.
You should be analytically mind-set and able to see the whole of a technical problem. One important success factor is being able to work inter-departmentally between departments and competencies. In the daily project work, you also need personal drive and initiative. The work involves some international contacts, which requires that you have very good communication skills and master English in both speech and writing.{C}
