Position description
To our office in Trollhättan, we are looking for Experienced Body Design Engineers. In this position you will be a part of our Body team, working with Body in White, Closures and Exterior in close cooperation with Product-, Validation- and Simulation engineers. As a Design Engineer you will design and develop parts for year model change or new car models. You will be working in CAD with both conceptual and detailed design, and will play an important role in the cross functional engineering team's work to optimise the design to fulfil the vehicle requirements.
Skills & Requirements
• BSc in Mechanical engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years work experience as design engineer at Automotive OEM or Tier 1
• Very good CAD expertise in CATIA V5
• Good knowledge of plastic and steel as construction material
• Experience of working with suppliers and knowledge of their working methods
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
• Driver license

• Able to work both independently and in teams
• Very good communication skills
• Desire to develop technical and personal skills with high levels of motivation and a positive attitude.
