As a project planner you are responsible for planning and monitoring activities in both smaller and larger projects. Job Description.
Out client is a world leading industrial company serving the mining, aggregates, recycling, oil, gas, pulp, paper and process industries. The company's operations in Sala is the global center for Process Equipment, Slurry Pumps and Mining Systems and has through close collaboration with process knowledge between customers and skilled employees developed a solid working environment, which has contributed to high quality and advanced products for major mining customers worldwide.
Your main duties as a project planner include:
• Responsible for managing the timeline/schedule in a project to meet the project and stakeholder requirements to achieve the project objectives.
• Responsible for planning and scheduling various project workloads.
• Gathers and analyzes information to prepare status reports on deliveries and activities.
• Ensures that assignment and scheduling of work follow company policy.
• Evaluates current procedures and recommends changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects.
• Documents work orders and projects and closes them in scheduling systems.
• Monitors schedule compliance and identifies reasons for completion shortfalls
• Give the project teams the right conditions to succeed with their follow-up and forecasting of time and manning.
Your profile.
• Degree in engineering and equivalent training/experience
• Experience from mining and/or aggregates projects or similar industrial projects
• Experience/knowledge from SAP business system is an advantage
• Good computer skills, including all Microsoft Officeproducts including Microsoft Projects, Primavera
Since you will have many contact areas both internally and externally, we see that you are educational, able to express yourself well in both speech and writing, and have a good communication and collaborative ability. You have the ability to work well under stress and be able to plan and help your team members meet tight deadlines. You are capable of effectively and accurately working on one or more projects at the same time.
