As European Business Development Technical Director it is your role to drive the development of strategies and support the new pipeline working in conjunction with numerous Rosti sites. You will ensure to liaise closely with all stakeholders and develop proposals, quotations and RFQs for new business in order to support the Rosti growth.
You thrive with new challenges and enjoy change; moreover you also never deviate from the bigger picture of your efforts and interventions and prioritize accordingly.
You will be part of a dynamic global sales and marketing team, with board level exposure, reporting directly to Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing.
Your assignment:
Develop technical proposals / concepts for potential customers.
Establish key technical relationships with customers / design house partners.
You manage new frameworks, competitive intelligence tools and constantly increase our technical success.
Support design house relationship and technical development including technical lunch and learn workshops
Provide and participate in marketing activities e.g. case studies, technical webinar events and exhibitions.
Support the NPI process of won business
Participate in the technical community to enable knowledge sharing
Fully support the Rosti technology roadmap
You should also provide and support capacity planning for Rosti sites
What we are looking for:
You have an engineering degree or equivalent knowledge, and several years of experience of injection molding and tool design. You also have experience working in an international business environment.
You will have some years' experience supporting a consultative sales process from a technical perspective; by this you continuously look for improvement opportunities and use your strong analytical skills to drive results and prioritize accordingly.
You are an excellent communicator and can convey messages to a range of audiences
You are highly proficient in both spoken and written English.
You need to be able to travel extensively across Europe.
