Ethics and Compliance has vital role in enabling and supporting Getinge and its leaders in managing conduct risk and how business is done, creating a business environment which embed ethics and compliance into the day to day operations and ensuring better control and predictability for Getinge business on a global scale.

Summary of the job
This regional E&C role includes responsibility, in alignment with respective global program owner in the E&C team, for implementing the ethics & compliance programs launched in Getinge group, presently addressing the areas of anti-trust / fair competition, anti-bribery and corruption (ABC), anti-money laundering (AML) and privacy. Specifically, the ABC and antitrust / fair competition programs are a pivotal program in Getinge and strong regional support for these programs will be required. Especially in conducting risk assessments, trainings and supporting the planned global due diligence process, engaging and vetting sales and other third parties as well as global processes for interactions with so-called Health Care Professionals, Health Care Organizations and transparency reporting.

The role also includes supporting the manager of the Special Investigations function within the E&C team, investigating cases of suspected ABC, anti-trust / fair competition or other violations, including proposing and implement/monitor remedial actions.

The regional role also includes implementation of the Getinge code of conduct with underlying policy and directive structures in cooperation with the respective global stakeholders as well as promoting and supporting a culture of business ethics and responsible leadership. The role includes conducting training sessions to executives and management teams and, as part of the global E&C ambassadors program; identifying, training and supporting local ethics & compliance ambassadors. The role requires compiling information and reports on ethics & compliance programs requested internally or externally. As the Getinge E&C function matures, the role will also include monitoring activities as well as engagements externally with other E&C professionals and other relevant external fora for ABC, anti-trust / fair competition, trade compliance and general ethics and compliance knowledge sharing.

Principal Accountabilities
• Ensures regional implementation of Getinge global ethics & compliance programs in alignment and close cooperation with the respective global program owners and according to Getinge Ethics and Compliance framework. Getinge curently has E&C programs of Anti-Trust / Fair Competition, Trade Compliance, Privacy and Anti-Bribery Corruption including AML, third party due diligence and management, and Health Care Professional/Health Care Organization interaction.
• Support ethics & compliance officers/ ambassadors with coordination and follow-up of generic elements such as Risk Assessment, Training and Communication, Third party due care and due diligence, Internal reporting (whistleblowing/ speak-up process) and case management, follow-up, measurements, monitoring and reporting.
• The role includes a greater responsibility for policy and program implementation within Anti-Bribery Corruption and Antitrust / Fair competition as these areas are pivotal to Getinge. ?Ensures local annual local risk assessments.
• Implements global policies, directives and, if necessary proposes local instruction
• Ensures Anti-Bribery Corruption and Antitrust / Fair competition education and training for all relevant employees and third parties when applicable; raises the awareness and transparency with related internal and external stakeholders.
• Follows-up on regional and local action/remediation plans implementation and progress
• Act as regional ethics champion and advocate and be role model for all stakeholders.
• Interact with external stakeholders and promote the role of Ethics & Compliance, business ethics and responsible business

Education
• Masters of Law, LL.M.
• Documented training in ethics and compliance methodology (SCCE certification is a plus)

Experience
• Min 7 years of experience of ethics and compliance work
• Solid experience working with Anti-Bribery Corruption and Anti-trust compliance
• Some experience from other relevant area of conduct risk, such as Trade compliance, Occupational Health and Safety or Human Rights
• Solid experience working with global business and organizations
• Experience from the pharma or medical device industry is a plus but not a requirement

Competencies
• In-depth knowledge of global regulations and enforcement in ABC compliance anti-money laundering laws and regulations (ACAMS certification is a plus)
• Solid knowledge of effective ethics & compliance work
• Solid knowledge of anti-trust, fair competition laws and regulations
• In-depth knowledge of global business
• In-depth knowledge of working in the region
• Sincere understanding of business ethics and its interplay with effective compliance
• Skills in making presentations and creating interest in the topics of trade compliance, anti-trust / fair competition, anti-bribery corruption, business ethics, ethics culture, and ethics and compliance
• Good strategic thinking to support both management and employees
• Excellent execution, follow up, project management and coordination skills
• Organised to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills, strength of character, reliance ability, humility, autonomous, self confidence
• Open, innovative and structured mind-set. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced global business environment
• Fluent in Russian and English
