Care by Volvo (CbV) is a new business program within Volvo Car Group introducing a new subscription offer in the market combining cars, financing, insurance, traditional services e.g. maintenance but also new convenience services such as pick-up and delivery and other connectivity services. A stable Digital Core with end-to-end process solutions supporting the Care by Volvo business model is crucial. The Miles application is part of the product suite using ERP and Finance backbone applications.
Your Mission
The purpose of the Miles Configurator is to execute creation of solutions for our business in the Subscription Service Application named Miles. The CbV Miles Configurator is a role within Volvo Car Group, Consumer & Enterprise Digital (CED) working closely and collaboratively with the other Miles Configurators and Product Owners in your team, and with the Care by Volvo business organisation. You will participate in the design of business solutions while working closely with solution architects to ensure that our technology approach move us closer to being a leading, modern software development operation for subscription related services in the automotive industry.
What you'll do
In the role as Miles Configurator for Care by Volvo you will be a part of the Miles application expert team working in close collaboration with product teams.
As a Miles Configurator you will:
* analyse business needs and participate in recommendation of solutions together with other product team members
* work with solution design, build and deployment - including validation and test
* work with continuous development of solutions with an agile approach
* collaborate with the development team and solution architects to assist with providing Miles expertise to decision-makers
* protect the long term technical integrity of the application
* participate in team backlog refinement to achieve minimum handover and maximum joint understanding
* continuously develop your skills and participate in Miles application configuration training
Do you fit the profile?
The ideal Miles Configurator has a University degree within relevant area or working experience from subscription or leasing business or Sales related ERP implementations.
You are a person with a strong business process understanding being passionate for digital solutions supporting your business. You have a strong drive for operational excellence with support from digital best-practise ERP solutions. Hopefully, you have experience from implementation of ERP solutions.
Working experience from the following areas is considered as a merit:
* Miles application
* ERP solution lifecycle processes - from implementation to hand-over to maintenance
* Product/Safe methodology
* Contract and Subscription related business process knowledge
* Finance business expertise
The job is located at HQ in Gothenburg.
