To support the ongoing Industrial ERP backbone (SAP) transformation, we have established a strong program organization with many cross functions and critical IT components which requires skilful planning, coordination, and large company-wide collaboration and with critical decisions to move forward.
The assignment
We are seeking a dynamic IT Project Manager to lead the IT activities in our Industrial ERP backbone transformation program. In this role, you will be responsible for orchestrating the IT activities in the implementation of SAP S/4HANA to streamline operations, E2E, and drive innovation within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, milestones, and IT resource allocation for the SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Engage with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, vendors, and other key players, to ensure alignment of goals and priorities.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks to keep the project on track, navigating through uncertainties with agility and strategic foresight.
• Oversee the quality of deliverables, conducting regular reviews and audits to uphold project standards and ensure successful outcomes.
• Provide regular updates and reports to project stakeholders, senior management, and other relevant parties on project progress, issues, and decisions.
• Facilitate a smooth transition to post-implementation support, establishing support mechanisms, conducting end-user training, and addressing any lingering issues.
Your profile
We expect you to have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field as well as proven experience managing IT projects, particularly SAP implementations, from initiation to completion. In addition, you have experience in change management and stakeholder engagement, with a track record of successfully leading teams through organizational transitions. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and ERP systems is preferred, along with familiarity with project management methodologies and tools. If you have knowledge about SAP Activate as an implementation method is a plus.
Required personal skills:
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on identifying and addressing risks and challenges.
To be successful in this position you have to be fluid in English in talking and writing. Talking and writing in Swedish is a plus.
In this role you will be part of the Program PMO but direct report to the head of Scania SAP digital core.
