an experienced engineer in the field of Electrical Engineering with specialization within Automation and Process Control, who can help us on our journey of change with clarification of values and implementation of Lean. Further we have many large, technical and complex projects ahead of us.
We are looking for you
who have a number of years of experience in Automation, preferably from the process industry, and who function well in the role as project leader. Suitable education is a Master of Science or Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with specialization within Automation and Process Control.
Cooperation on an international level with suppliers and subsidiaries requires you having excellent English skills in both speech and writing. Good ability to cooperate and creativity are other important personal skills. You possess a broad technical knowledge and would like to continue your development.
A driver's license is required.
About the position
The position is located at Höganäs Sweden AB in Höganäs. The department Global Technology, where you will be based, gathers our core competence within Electrical Engineering. The department supports worldwide the various sites with project execution and implementation. Global Technology is therefore the hub for technical competence, knowledge and development.
As experienced engineer in the field of Electrical Engineering you will form part of Global Technology where you mainly will be working with design of electrical and automation systems. The work will be performed at Höganäs' process lines in Höganäs and Halmstad, and at our sites around the world. The position requires a number of travel days per year.
You follow the projects from feasibility studies to completion and handover of process lines. The work areas include project management, design of electrical drive systems and heating systems as well as instrumentation, process control systems, programming and commissioning. Knowledge and experience from industrial IT systems and process control is a plus. Höganäs mainly use ABB 800xA as automation platform.
Höganäs focuses on building process lines with high personal and process safety, meaning a part of the work includes design of SIL and PL classified process equipment.
Global Technology also manages the technical support for the process lines in Höganäs.
The position is a full-time permanent position located in Höganäs. You will be reporting to the Manager Electrical Engineering.
