WHO YOU ARE
As an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (ED&I) Specialist you are really passionate about people, diversity and inclusion! You are a strong ambassador for the IKEA culture and values, and you are motivated to create a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone feels welcomed and valued. You also want to make a difference everyday by positively influencing the business directly as well as through good collaboration and co-creation.

Therefore, understanding business priorities and how equality, diversity and inclusion support these priorities is just as important as stakeholder management and building trusting relationships.

You are an influential leader, with ability to work with high level leaders and matrix partners. As excellent collaborator you will be able to positively influence the organisation and use your expertise in the ED&I area. You are good at creating relationships and you enjoy working interdependently and within a team environment. It is critical that you are excellent in English verbal and written communication.

We see that you will need to have:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience from working with ED&I, strategies and implementation equivalent
• Proven skills in how to make a difference by positively influencing the business directly as well as through good collaboration
• International work experience in a multicultural environment
• Experience in supporting and implementing long-term strategic plans and following up on goals.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the Centre of Expertise with a global assignment for ED&I you will:
• Secure access to updated knowledge about market trends, latest developments and best practises in Diversity and Inclusion
• Support the INGKA Group ED&I team to establish a solid Diversity and Inclusion approach, valid for all countries and organisations.
• Support and help lead the global ED&I Network.
• Support specific ED&I initiatives with a global perspective and local adaptations and implementations.
• Support integration of ED&I in all functions of People and Culture and other functions of INGKA Group.
• Support creation and maintenance of the ED&I Hub on Inside and IKEA.com.
• Create and maintain supporting material such as the ED&I Approach Toolkit and material to support specific dimensions of diversity.
• Support Group ED&I agenda in other assignments and initiatives and contribute in projects related to diversity.
• Collaborate with external organisations focused on equality, diversity and inclusion
• Serve as a role model and an ambassador to the Ingka Group ED&I purpose, impacting our customers, co-workers and society.

TOGETHER AS A TEAM
The purpose of the ED&I Centre of Expertise is to create a diverse and inclusive work environment, contributing to positive change in all areas of our business and in society.
We work with our People & Culture partners to anchor our Equality Plans in all countries and functions, and we collaborate with our ED&I Network (leaders in each country and function) to support implementation and follow-up.
