We have a role for Enterprise Solution Architect in Gothenburg, Sweden-please find below the details:

Location - Gothenburg, Sweden

Enterprise Solution Architect -Accountable for developing and maintaining a long-term technical roadmap for shared services. Accountable for the IT infrastructure policy and act as a single point of contact for architecture issues. Overall accountable for the entire architecture used within all domains and that the architecture works across domains. They will review and approve the transformation roadmapand solutions.

Key Responsibilities Areas

• Develop and maintain long-term technical roadmap (target architecture) for the shared services
• Maintain and enhance IT infrastructure technology & product standards aligned to target architecture
• Relationship management with the Client architect community and other Client senior stakeholders; become a trusted advisor tothe client on architecture matters
• Lead the HCL Design Team in developing the solutions required to meet T&T deliverables
• Run architectural governance to ensure the integrity of HCL services are maintained during change programs i.e. continue to deliver as contracted
• Provide business context and contract requirement support
• Provide internal approval \certification of Solution Architecture \Solution Proposals
• Ensure that infrastructure solutions make the most efficient use of resources, technical and people, to provide best value to both the client and HCL
• SPOC for HCL Shared services architectural issues
• Ensure cross domains architectural compliance
• Review and provide feedback transformation roadmap

Competence / Knowledge / Skills required

• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including oral, written, presentation and the ability to successfully influence others
• Good verbal communication including clarifying scope, requirements and deliverables
• Good written communication skills including evidence of concise infrastructure design documentation
• Good stakeholder management skills. Able to effectively listen, communicate, challenge and influence team members peer group, suppliers and management
• Proven skills in dealing with suppliers (internal and external)
• Demonstrate ability to priorities and manage effectively your own workload and that of a medium sized team

• Good high level knowledge of IT infrastructures and architectures

• Ability to develop innovative ideas and opportunities for exploiting new or existing infrastructure solutions
• Knowledge of finance and budget control
• Experience of commercial negotiations and the development of contract schedules
• Ability to investigate and learn (to support the design and implementation of new technical solutions)
• Understanding of project lifecycles
• Understands accountabilities across large projects/programmes and tasks
• Can deal with ambiguity and uncertainty. Can identify and manage conflicts
• Proven skills in recognizing dependencies and project planning activities
• Knowledge of the Client Sector and any regulatory processes affecting preferred Must show willingness to learn if not.
• Motivation and ability to gain knowledge of client business units, systems and all HCL processes
• Successful demonstrable experience of leading design and implementation of significant infrastructure transformation projects involving multiple technical disciplines across multiple geographies

Technical Skills

• Broad project lifecycle experience -especially in Enterprise IT environments
• Generalist and Expert knowledge on Datacentre, Network connectivity, Security, Virtualisation, Compute, Storage, End User Infrastructure, Directory Services, Messaging & Collaboration, Unified Communication, IT Service Management, Tools/Automation and Private and Public Cloud capabilities
• Specialist in Networking (SDN, SDWAN, VPN, reverse proxies, routing, switching etc.)
• Specialist in Network Security (firewall configuration, proxy, IPS/IDS etc.)
• Understanding of common application approaches and technologies (e.g. SOA, message queuing)
• Understanding of common database technologies (e.g. backup/restoration, replication/mirroring)
• Understanding of common internet technologies (e.g. e-mail, web servers, web services)
• Experience designing for virtualization, disaster recovery, hybrid cloud, backup and archival solutions
