We are looking for an Enterprise Risk Manager who will take on the responsibility of being Risk partner to Swedish Business, Trygg-Hansa, based in Stockholm. You will work in a Scandinavian set-up with colleagues in both Sweden and Denmark. The team is also responsible for the risk management in our Norwegian business, Codan NUF, based in Oslo.
High-performing influencer with solid foundation in risk management
Your most important task is to ensure effective operation of the Risk Control Cycle and drive the ongoing development and implementation of the risk management system in Codan/Trygg-Hansa.
Furthermore, you will work with
Challenge of 1st line risk management.
Simplification of processes and tools in relation to the Risk Management System (RMS).
Keeping processes and outputs rigorous, practical, and commercially relevant.
Risk deep dives supporting the understanding of risks with particular relevance to the business.
Ensuring that ERM reporting facilitates strategic and operational discussions in committees and drives appropriate action plans.
Key result areas will be
Delivering of risk assessments pertaining to the Swedish business.
Providing assurance on the Swedish risk profile through appropriate challenge and analysis.
Reporting of findings and actions to the regional risk Committee and Board of Directors (BoD), and tracking progress of actions to completion.
Drive engagement between the Enterprise Risk team, the Swedish executive management and the wider stakeholder network.
Implementation of alterations or requirements pertaining to relevant regulations.
Champion a close collaboration with your peers in RSA Group ensuring alignment and effectiveness.
When needed you will attend relevant committees, where you will challenge and support the processes and tools relating to the RMS, and use your insight to advice on any current operational risk trends.
Your profile
You have proven experience from working with risk management, preferably in the insurance or bank industry. You probably have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Business, Language and Culture; Business Administration; International Marketing and Management or similar. You are fluent in written and spoken English and Swedish. In addition:

You are a strong communicator and have experience from presenting, communicating, and working with senior executives

Being part of 2nd line of Defence Risk and Compliance Team
You will report to the Head of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and be part of the 2nd Line of Defence Nordic Risk & Compliance function consisting of an Insurance Risk team, a Capital & Financial Risk team, an Enterprise Risk team, and a Compliance team.
The position is located in Trygg-Hansa, Stockholm and involves some degree of travel activities to Copenhagen where the Head of ERM and half of the ERM team are situated.
