Our Exciting Opportunity
Do you want to be part of a team designing the architecture for Ericsson's digital business transformation?
Ericsson Group IT's enterprise architecture team play a key role in this business transformation. We are now looking for an Enterprise IT Architect to join our team and help us in this journey!
Come, and be where it begins - Translating strategy to execution.
This position in our team will have its main focus on the IT application level of the Ericsson enterprise IT landscape. You will be guiding solution architects in how their modern web & cloud-based solutions should be crafted to align with the target IT architecture - A target IT architecture that we as a collaborative architecture team are defining.
You will
Analyze business strategies to assess their IT architecture impact and outline corresponding architecture transition activities outlining the way to target.
Influence and share architectural good practices within Group IT, and across Ericsson, by providing high-level design recommendations as well as usable guardrails in the form of architectural principles/instructions and patterns to be used in solution design.
Monitor ground-breaking IT trends and technologies understanding how/if they could fit into our IT landscape to accomplish a competitive business advantage.
Be part of our architecture review board to assess proposed solution alternatives.
On a day-to-day basis support strategic projects by being their sponsoring enterprise architect, ensuring an overall IT landscape consistency.
To be successful in the role you must have
A proven experience as a senior enterprise or solution architect of IT business tool solution development in modern web & multi-cloud deployment environments. This to understand the day-to-day challenges of those you will guide in this role.
A "bi-lingual ability" to connect with both non-techy senior leaders for decision making as well in-depth technical domain specialists for insightful subject discussions.
An attitude of an innovative IT architect with an outside-in perspective carefully balancing any architectural compromises between short-term value realization's and long-term target alignment.
A way of working that seek collaboration as the path to long term success and you demonstrate ownership and do the right thing even when it takes courage to do so.
