Connected Solutions is a newly established unit that will lead the development of the Volvo Group's connected solutions and supporting capabilities to further strengthen the Volvo Group position and competitiveness in the area.
We are now looking for more Senior Architects to be part of our Enterprise Architecture team supporting enablement and delivery of cutting edge solutions and services which fulfill profitability and growth objectives based on world class Connected Services.

Position Summary
As part of our team you will get the opportunity to work from a strategic perspective down to the actual deliveries. This includes areas such as working with business stakeholders defining the way forward to meet new demands, driving technical strategies and providing governance, supporting product planning and development and setting roadmaps. As a team we drive IT architecture improvements, technology and vendor selection as well as strive to optimize development and operational efficiency. We work in a context that is both strategic and operational that requires a cross-functional way of working and the ability to shift focus between the high level and the details.
Location & Timeline
The position is based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Occasional travel is expected.

Wanted profile and skills
As a senior architect we like to see that you have relevant experiences in areas such as enterprise architecture, cloud and solution architecture, information management and integrations, requirement analysis and agile development with delivering continuous business value using the DevOps delivery model. Experience from Cyber Security and/or Analytics area is a big plus. As a person you have a strong personal driving force and can lead others in activities. You like taking own initiatives as part of having a large individual responsibility. You are perceptive, social and prestigeless. We are in a global and complex business and it's important that you can build productive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. You will report to the Director of the Enterprise Architecture function within Volvo Group Connected Solutions and often work closely together with leaders and technology experts throughout the Volvo Group
Requested qualifications
This role requires a Master University degree or equivalent as the basis for your career. Along with strong analytical and architectural skills, you need to be a good communicator and able to collaborate effectively with colleagues globally. The successful candidate will have shown a winning attitude and great persona in combination with a strong track record and references.
