hela Sverige Volvo Penta is seeking a skilled Enterprise Architect to join the team responsible for Digital Strategy, Innovation and Architecture. As an Enterprise Architect, you will be a key player in our digital transformation journey, with a special focus on creating new value and revenue through the smart use of digital platforms, technologies, services, data insights and processes.
You will monitor external opportunities and industry trends to anticipate future innovation opportunities as well as be responsible for interpreting business strategies and needs into proposals for how these needs should be aligned and realized with digital technology. You will work closely with business stakeholders and design solutions that meet the desired business outcomes.
You will work jointly with our Chief Enterprise Architect, utilize the Volvo Penta EA network (team of segment and domain architects), to together define and drive strategic plans for implementing new technologies and systems for Volvo Penta. You probably have a background as Enterprise Architect, a tech savvy business consultant or a high-level solution architect. The important thing is a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
You will be reporting to the Vice President of "Digital Strategy, Innovation and Architecture".
The position is based at Volvo Penta headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden. Occasional travel outside Gothenburg is expected.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Proactively monitor new technologies for future business opportunities
Support business strategy development by translating the business strategy into
Business capabilities & processes
Information models
Application landscapes
Technology architectures
Support our Chief EA to drive the Volvo Penta EA network by
Ensuring development of above areas
Lead the design and consistent evolution of architectures to realize identified business objectives and outcomes.
Lead the development of target architectures and identify improvement areas in current IT systems in close cooperation with our EA network
Cooperate with business and IT stakeholders to design the architecture transformation roadmaps, incl. monitoring of its execution
Provide solution architects with directions, guidelines, and elaboration of target architecture.
Proactively suggest improvements to used methodologies and the ways of working
Secure alignment to the Volvo Group and Volvo Penta Architecture Governance
Strengthen the EA capabilities by building competence about Volvo Penta business via operational support to key transformative initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Experience from functional leadership by leading smaller cross-functional teams.
Experience from manufacturing & servicing" or service selling" companies from a capability / process perspective.
Experience from information modeling.
Insight in cloud computing and API oriented integration.
Insight in architecture frameworks, preferably TOGAF.
Insight in agile planning and development methods.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Excellent communication and change management skills
Proficient in English, both verbal and written
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
