We are currently looking to recruit a Engineering Planner (f/d/m) in Vasteras
The Engineering Planner has a central role in the engineering team enabling development and delivery of Traction systems for Rail Vehicles.
The Planner reports to the Project Engineering Manager (PrEM), with the responsibility to analyze of the required project activities, providing the plan- that enables the project team to deliver as specified on time at budgeted cost. On regular basis the Planer follow up and analyzes the performance and provides recovery plans in case of deviations.
The role is central in the Engineering Team with insight in the core of the execution.
The Engineering Planner reports to Head of PrEM, Västerås (VST) Traction
The Engineering Planner is responsible for
Monitor global directives for Planning.
Take part in formal networks
Establish personal network cross functional on site and global planning community
Secure appropriate level of quality of planning for projects
Tasks
The Engineering Planner will support the PrEM for Order and Development project by recommend and establish a Planning Structure suitable for the complexity and criticality of the individual projects
The Engineering Planner will support the PrEMs in follow up and maintaining the plan
The Engineering Planner will on regular basis review the actual status of the project and based on collected experience be able to provide appropriate recommendations for forecast of required work and timeline to finalize the project
The Engineering Planner will prepare training material and provide training on need basis to PrEMs to enable them to maintain the planning on daily basis.
Qualifications:
Engineering degree
Experience from project driven Engineering organizations
Swedish and English as working languages
Self-orientating, capability identifying internal needs, external requirements, identifying options and proposing way forward
Supporting mindset and excellent communication skills
Capability to identify and communicate essentials for planning
Structured simplifier to enable LEAN approach
