We have in short period built a reputation for providing innovative, value added solutions for major energy providers, governments and contractors in the Middle East region. Our core services include the design, development and installation of electric power generating facilities, refinery plants, process control, valves and pipeline systems.
We are expanding and looking for a senior Engineer with excellent engineering experience in electric power, oil and gas industries and an interest in project management for permanent recruitment as Engineering Manager to lead and develop our Engineering Department. You will be an important part of a group of international engineering consultants and subcontractors in delivery of key projects to the energy industry. Are you ready for an exciting new role? (Responsibilities and challenges):
• Manage all engineering activities and be responsible for the overall
planning, execution and success of engineering projects including
bides, proposal and preparation/submissions.
• Responsible for the technical integrity of the work performed by our
subcontractors (engineering consulting firms) and suppliers
(manufactures), ensuring that technical standards and client
requirements are adhered to at all times.
• Responsible for overseeing technical teams, who install, test and
diagnose projects.
• Responsible for recruitment and training our future engineers and
development of the Engineering department.
• Work with local and international teams on projects. Coordinate and
lead internal/external engineering teams and provide design
recommendations, and supporting clients in the design,
construction, procurement and manufacturing of products/ projects.
(Qualifications):
• B.Sc. in Engineering.
• 15-20 year's engineering experience in electric power, oil and gas
industries and familiarity with the latest design codes, standards
and analysis techniques.
• Proven supervisory track record with strong management potential.
• Organisational awareness.
• Well developed planning and organizing skills.
• Influencing skills.
• Thorough understanding of all Engineering disciplines.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Good technical knowledge and skills.
• Good Communication skills.
• Experience in a variety of major projects in the Middle East is
essential.
• Experience within engineering recruitment.
• Have great networking skills and the ability and motivation to share
your knowledge, experience and links/contacts with others.
