In the role as Engineering Manager for the Merchant Universe, you will lead the product teams specializing in our check-out, payments solutions and other merchant services. The foundation of our product development process is based on autonomous, cross-functional teams with end-to-end ownership of their assets. Every team has a team lead and a lead software engineer who together with the product owner leads the team in the day-to-day work.
Your job as an Engineering Manager is to inspire, build, and lead your teams towards delivering a WOW experience to our customers. This includes supporting the delivery of business value, advocate and advance modern, agile software development practices and help develop and improve great engineering and organizational practices. You translate Qliros' strategy and business needs into workforce strategy and capability build-up in your teams. You are an active part of the Tech Management team and collaborate with other leaders in the organization to make Technology a competitive edge for Qliro. You have budget and staff responsibility including suppliers of third-party products and consultants.

Who we are looking for someone who...
• Is an experienced leader within software engineering with proven track record of leading agile development organizations and teams with end-to-end ownership of their assets
• Knows, from your own experience, what it takes to create a WOW experience for users of eCommerce, Payments and Check-outs
• Has the ability to participate in the strategic dialogue in the company and translate that into relevant direction and goals for your teams
• Has a strong ability to collaborate and influence both internally and externally
• Masters degree in engineering, technical management or business administration
• Is fluent in spoken and written English
• Has a valid work permit within the European Union
