You will have the important task of managing a team of designers/engineers to deliver high quality, cost effective and timely engineering solutions to customers. Moreover, you will formulate plans and allocate resources to meet the agreed contractual and financial targets. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring the team's compliance with standard processes, procedures, practices and safety requirements.

You have a minimum of BSc in Mechanical Engineering as a base, and a market and results oriented attitude on top. You feel competent in the various areas of engineering, such as technical expertise and solutions, processes and tools, risk and opportunities, and are skilled in sharing technical information. In fact, you might already be working with leading teams with a focus on operational planning and process development. Tools like MS office, SAP and CAD Creo are familiar to you.
As a person, you consider yourself to be a good, solution focused leader with high inner drive. You are a good planner and prioritizer with high social competence and a customer focused approach. Moreover, you are a natural communicator to whom proactive behavior and collaboration comes instinctively.
It is an important requirement to have excellent skills in both English and Swedish, written and spoken alike.

We are now looking for an Engineering Manager for Power Grids. You will be a part of the High Voltage Products Capacitors unit and have responsibility for the work environment and workflow of about 6 people. As an Engineering Manager, you will have a central role in project planning and execution. A close cooperation and communication with the market and project managing teams is essential for the successful execution of projects. You should also be ready to meet customers and understand their demands. You will be based in Ludvika.
