We are now looking for an Engineer for HVAC & interior air distribution
Description
The HVAC & Thermal Management Systems team, that you will be a part of, is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the Technical Development Organization. You will be a part of a team of Engineers, with your primary responsibility for the components in the compartment, such as HVAC module, air filter, air ducts and air outlets including integration and verification of these in the vehicle. During the execution of this development, a team that you are a part of will heavily interact with other departments, suppliers, and also R&D partners, often in an international setting.
The role as Engineer for HVAC & Thermal Systems involves:
- Product development responsibilities for components such as HVAC Modules, which includes compartment fans, actuators, structures, supplied electronic circuitry and air filtering systems, air ducts, air evacuation and air outlets.
- Responsible through the complete product lifecycle, including advanced development, industrialization development, production, and service stages.
- Line-role with direct support to assigned projects.
- Perform and/or support product development activities.
- Lead technical communication with your dedicated suppliers.
- Identify opportunities and implement changes to improve products or processes and reduce cost.
- Evaluate the feasibility of new proposals and products.
- Support future product planning activities.
- Be responsible for the development and maintenance of verification and validation methodologies and procedures within your area
- Establish and maintains internal and external networks.
- Support mentoring and training activities.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
- Interest in climate and thermal system development
- Preferably Engineering experience from development in relevant area
- Ability to communicate clearly in English both spoken and written. Preferably Swedish and Chines.
- Driver license B
