Position description:
We are looking for an Engineer to work with Electrical System Design on complete vehicle level. The design of the electrical system is done based on the vehicle functional content. The work is done in collaboration with requirement owners and design teams in the delivering organizations. The design is made in SystemWeaver where components and their connectivity is defined.
We are working with continuous improvement of our ways-of-working, and this role will be part of that work.
As an Electrical System Design Engineer,
• Drive and participate in Vehicle level Electrical System design work
• In cooperation with function designers and component owners, define the electrical interfaces for the components
• Define connectivity in the vehicle
• Participate in setting strategies for fusing, power supply and related topics for the electrical system
• Participate in process and method improvement work for the area
• Drive and participate in different fora related to the electrical architecture
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
• Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Electronics, Information Systems or equivalent.
• Experience in designing vehicle electrical systems
• Experience from electronics and software development in the automotive industry
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.
• Driver license B.
