Our Engineering department is creating a strong foundation of skills for new technologies and innovations.
We have a committed passion to create and deliver iconic and desirable global products suitable for volume production.
We are now looking for one Engineer to support our team on attribute area, vehicle requirements for the Thermal Management group. Attribute areas are within Thermal Management and Thermal Comfort in complete vehicle.
As an Engineer Attribute Owner, you will develop attribute rating to meet current and future market needs based on 12 box (market needs). To be able to predict these needs you will initiate relevant benchmarking activities on vehicle level. You will also be supporting the different engineering groups, which means you will have to understand the design considerations (hardware/electrical/software) and support the design activities.
In projects, you will report to the Attribute Area Owner and participate in the project charter development. Main Tasks include definition and rating of attributes, communication and follow-up of impacted attributes within Thermal Management area.
The role as Engineer Attribute Owner also involves:
- Be updated on future legal requirements and consumer ratings on Vehicle Level supported by Regulatory Affairs.
- Develop Non Functional Vehicle Requirements (ATS/VTS) based on Program Order.
- Support requirement balancing on Vehicle Level.
- Support development of Verification/Validation methods on Vehicle Level, with focus on time and cost optimization (Road-Lab-Math).
- Support Attribute Verification plan.
- Identify, track and report Attribute performance to Product Profile targets and Vehicle requirements.
- Validate that final designs meet the Attribute performance targets.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5-year history working with product development, experience and knowledge on Thermal Management/ Climate systems within automotive.
- A thorough understanding of vehicle system, and requirement management.
- Driver license B.
- Excellent knowledge and skills in English, both written and spoken. Preferable Swedish knowledge but it is not mandatory.
