You are also:
• Extensive Knowledge of how to lead communication and engagement by defining, planning, executing and following-up communication with relevant stakeholders to keep our co-workers well informed, engaged and empowered.
• Good Understanding of creating engagement through communication
• Good Understanding of the process for delivering efficient communication and stakeholder plans, tools and our communication channels
• Good Knowledge about digital / social media/graphic design and video production.
• Motivated to collaborate across IKEA stakeholders to secure the target audience is informed, gains clarity and is inspired and engaged.
• Passionate about leading, inspiring and developing co-workers both within the CoE and in the Markets
• Open to change and convinced the sky has no limits, testing and trying new ideas through an agile way of working.
• Share and live the IKEA culture and values.
• Good knowledge about the IKEA culture and values
• Proven experience in strategic communication, project management and engagement
• Minimum of 5 years' experience working with communication and engagement
• Preferred: Knowledge of IKEA brand, culture, values and way of working Strong documented leadership skills
• Excellent English communication
Your responsibilities
As a Engagement Leader you will Identify, develop and lead new ways to reach, inform, clarify, connect and engage co-workers on commercial topics. You will take the lead in driving an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the IKEA values where our co-workers are informed, engaged and empowered.
You will be responsible for -
• Your primary responsibility is to promote, inform, and clarify commercial initiatives and projects developed by the Growth & Marketing team. The goal is to enhance co-worker engagement, understanding, and adoption.
• Streamline and simplify communication channels while strategically linking projects and initiatives to business goals and objectives. Your role involves leading and facilitating engagement activities to build a strong sense of community within the Growth & Marketing team across various markets and stores.
• Identify, develop, and lead innovative approaches to reach and engage co-workers, fostering community building. Continuously explore opportunities for renewal and improvement in communication strategies to maintain relevance in a dynamic retail environment.
• Take charge of planning and executing large-scale engagement events for commercial topics in Growth & Marketing. Provide coaching and support to stakeholders, ensuring a collaborative and commercial-focused approach in all initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with the Growth & Marketing manager to implement the Growth & Marketing engagement and communication strategy. Contribute proactively to planning, discussions, and execution, aligning with the creative vision.
Together as a Team
Growth and Marketing is assigned to create customer demand, engagement and loyalty with the IKEA brand by amplifying the commercial offer.
Together with the rest of IKEA value chain create Growth Plans, maximising our value chain benefits with sales and supply planning. Take the lead in our commercial recipe work in holding, translating our growth plan to a how to for our markets to use in driving traffic to IKEA and acquiring new customers and therefor positioning IKEA.
