Job Title: Emergency Employee: Receptionist and/or Admin Assistant
Salary: Starting base hourly wage SEK 181 (LE-A2) plus benefits
Vacancy type: Emergency employment
Term Details: Full/Part-time on an as-needed basis, maximum 125 days per year. This position is an Emergency LES (Locally Engaged Staff) position, subject to the Terms and Conditions of Employment for LES in Sweden but without access to certain benefits.

Summary of position:
Primarily involved in covering for the Receptionist while absent, the individual will receive training at the Embassy and then, when scheduled by mutual agreement, provide reception services to the Embassy, either on site or remotely. When covering for reception, the individual has primary responsibility for responding to calls from the public, as well as receiving Embassy visitors and clients (if working on site). The incumbent may also support the Consular and Passport programs through application processing, client liaison and information management, and provides administrative support to the Management and Consular sections. On occasion, and as appropriate, the individual may be asked to act as an Administrative Assistant for one of the Embassy's other programs (Foreign Policy or Commerce).
Essential qualifications:
Candidates will initially be screened against the Essential Qualifications relating to education, experience and language. Candidates must clearly demonstrate in their cover letter and CV how they meet each of these essential qualifications.
Education:
Successful completion of secondary education from a recognized institution
Language:
Proficiency in English (oral and written)
Proficiency in Swedish (oral and written)
Experience:
Minimum one (1) year of combined experience in:
• front-line client service delivery
AND
• providing administrative services OR
• providing logistical support OR
• record-keeping and information management.
Rated Requirements:
The Rated Requirements relating to knowledge, abilities and competencies will also be assessed. Methods of assessment may include, but are not limited to, a written examination, an oral interview, role-play, practical tests, presentations and/or psychometric assessment.

Asset Qualifications:
Preference may be given to candidates who meet the Asset Qualifications. Where applicable, candidates must clearly demonstrate how they meet any asset qualifications in their cover letter and CV.
• Client service experience working with a diplomatic mission or international organization
• Experience working with data management software
• Proficiency in French (oral and written)
Organizational Needs:
Operational Requirements:* Ability to work overtime outside normal working hours
• Ability to work on Swedish holidays when the Embassy is open
• Ability to work either from the Embassy or remotely (tools to be provided by the Embassy)
