Board Power Design at Lindholmen is responsible for research, development and maintenance of Board Power to the majority of the Ericsson Product Portfolio. We are a part of the Ericsson's global design organization and engaged in developing products for the present and future mobile networks. At our site we are four sections forming a competence center with responsibility to provide power solutions to the Ericsson organization.
Board Power Digital is now looking for a Software Developer that can join the SW team within Board Power Digital at Ericsson Lindholmen.
The SW team is working with the next the generation of Digital power designs that is used in many Ericsson products such as RBS Digital boards, MINI-LINK products and Optical Network products.
Our competence center is based on team work with experienced and dedicated individuals. We believe that our employees are the key to our success. Primary location for this position is at Lindholmen, Gothenburg, Sweden.
Job description
You will work in close cooperation with other power design areas and with global power system suppliers. You will interact with design disciplines across Ericsson, such as digital design, system design and building practices. Co-operation with global production sites and other design centers in Sweden and China is part of the daily work.
The main responsibilities for the SW team are working with the DPP (Digital Power Platform) and test tool development. The DPP platform consists of two parts BPM (Board Power Manager) and a GUI. The BPM is programmed in C, and the GUI is programmed in C#. The test tools are programmed in mainly C and LabVIEW.
Qualifications
You take initiative and are willing to adopt new methods and techniques. You work well independently, but you are also a team player with good communication skills. You have worked some years within the field and have:
Bachelor or Master of Science
Experience of programming in C
Experience in developing unit and component tests
Experience from Pearl and Python Scripts
Experience from working with GIT and Gerrit.
Experience of working with UNIX/Linux
Good knowledge of working with SW design according to scrum and agile methods.
Good cooperation & communication skills
Fluent in English.
Good to have
Experience from HW design
Experience of programming in C#
Communication protocols (TCP/IP, SMBus, PMBus)
You have an analytical approach, a strong drive for results and customer focus. You have good communication and co-operation skills and the ability to take the initiative and adapt to new methods and techniques. Most of all you have an inquisitive mind, and a thirst for knowledge.
