Embedded SW Developer

Kongsberg Automotive is looking for an Embedded SW Developer located in Mullsjö, Sweden. Software Engineering practice is responsible for development and maintenance of all on-board and off-board software for Kongsberg Automotive's products including exciting range of new RnD products.

Main objectives
Embedded SW Developer shall, assigned by the Software COE Manager, deliver design documents into the projects (POI, NPI, PIP), according to agreed plans with responsible persons in the projects (R&D led by a Design Responsible). Target is to utilize the engineering knowledge to deliver design documents for the right product, with the right quality, in right the time, meeting the different cost targets.
Candidate profile
• University degree in, master or bachelor, in software engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience within design and developing embedded real-time software, including some experience on safety critical (automotive) design and testing.
• Good knowledge of programing software with C.
• Knowledge in programming with other programming language such as C++, C#, Java, GUI (graphic interface)
• Knowledge of Freescale, Microchip, Motorola, Siemens, ST, Atmel, Infineon, or similar microcontrollers.
• Knowledge of algorithm development for electronic component recognition and modeling of their interconnections.
• Good knowledge with CAN, LIN or similar interfaces
• Knowledge of using AUTOSAR or similar OS.
• Good knowledge of development processes, methods and tools.
• Knowledge in Automotive Spice and ISO 26262 (Functional Safety)
• Good knowledge in handling computers using typical office tools.
• Personal qualities appropriate for working in a design team; analytic, structured, good communicative skills and able to take initiatives.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Good knowledge of local native language (Swedish).
