The tester we are looking for, has knowledge about low level software, driver software and also perhaps specific interest in either Bluetooth/BLE, Zigbee, Wifi... and perhaps mesh networks?
As a software tester at Sigma Connectivity you will work close to developers, architects, project managers and hardware departments, sometimes as the only software tester within the project and sometimes as part of a software test team, depending on project. You need to be able to handle both situations well.
Curiosity of digging into new technologies is required.
Programming skills are required.
Technical skills are required.
HW experience is a plus.
ISTQB certification is a plus.
Test leading/test planning is a plus.
Certain knowledge of a specific connectivity area is a plus.

The Software design department within Sigma Connectivity is expanding and now we are looking for an experienced/senior software tester with main interest in, and great understanding of, embedded systems and how to test them. In short: We are looking for a technical, embedded software tester with excellent cooperation/team work skills that are not afraid of new challenges and quick changes. Are you that person?
We require that you have experience of scripting and test development, but also good knowledge in general about SW test methodologies/terminology. Experience and interest of sometimes being the only tester in a development team is necessary. That means that test leading skills and some previous experience in test planning and reporting are wanted, but most important is that you are able to drive things forward, be creative and take initiatives to help secure good quality of our embedded software deliveries.
