The position will be part of a team which develops an Embedded Linux platform and corresponding applications to be able to monitor and control our repeaters.
The person we are searching for have a few years documented experience in developing applications for Embedded Linux platforms.
Since we are moving towards more automatic testing, experience in automatic software testing is very appreciated.
Since we support multiple products from one platform we expect the person to be open to suggesting new ideas and improve the existing platform.
Areas of Responsibilities
Help to specify new functionality from market requirements
Implement new modules from specification mainly in C
Participate in improving and optimizing system architecture
Develop frameworks for automatic software testing
Continue to improve build methods, development processes
Participate in user definitions for new products
Support of released products

Job Requirements
Thorough knowledge about Embedded Linux application development and the challenges running an Embedded Linux distribution with limited resources
Good C-programming skills
Shell scripting experience
Experience in automatic testing frameworks
Knowledge of build systems (preferably cmake) and revision control systems such as Subversion
Knowledge on boot loaders, kernel modules and preferably experience in kernel development
Structured and self-motivated and have good social skills.
Fluency in English due to working in multi-cultural teams internally and externally.
Good communication skills, proven ability to work in project teams and sharing knowledge
Knowledge in Lua / XML / jQuery / JavaScript / CSS / HTML / AJAX.
Delphi / SQL
M2M communications (GPRS, CSD)
Communication protocols and mechanisms such as TCP/IP, RS485, PPP
Understanding of radio systems such as GSM/WCDMA/TETRA
