Embedded Software Engineer
We are looking for a Embedded Software Engineer to join our development team that designs Xylem's next generation control systems and the ecosystem around it.
Control systems are core components supporting and securing that our customers have a reliable process running with high energy efficiency. Smart feature from machine to cloud ensures economy over their entire lifespan.
This role will require you to work closely together in a supporting cross functional team. In the team you will cooperate with Product Owners, Test Engineers, and other Software Engineers. The team is located at our Head Quarter in Sundbyberg with close cooperation with our manufacturing site in Emmaboda.
We use modern tools (e.g. Atlassian suite, Jenkins, JSON, Dockers, Artifactory etc) and agile methods (Scrum and Kanban) to create business value continuously. We ensure high quality, availability, and adaptability in our delivery.
Responsibilties
We see you working as part of a cross functional team to develop and deliver our innovative control features to the latest version of our products and our platform. This includes visiting customer sites and work in our lab to understand the requirements of upcoming features.
Qualifications
Some years of experience in embedded systems programming in C/C++
Experience with real time operating systems such as Zephyr
Development experience with unit testing and static code analysis tools such as CPP check, PC Lint or similar
Experience with working in git
MSC level in Computer Science or equivalent level of knowledge
Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
