Description
Do you want to change the world? At LumenRadio you will be part of developing the wireless systems of tomorrow. Together we can change the world, because we are currently looking for a person with great passion for software development for embedded systems. You will work primarily in C and are familiar with embedded systems, as well as being able to see the full picture of what you do. In the role as software engineer at LumenRadio you will work both strategically and hands-on. You will work in all stages of products development: specification, design, implementation, verification, documentation and support.
At LumenRadio we believe strongly in technology, and as part of the R&D team you will be able to spend at least 20% of your time on the technology we will use tomorrow – for instance to be part of developing our next patent. The R&D team currently consists of a handful of people with different backgrounds. You will be reporting directly to the company’s R&D Manager.
Your background
We are looking for someone that think electronic systems are great. Preferably you have a M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree with a major in a relevant area. You have at least a few years experience in embedded software development - professional or as a hobby just because you find it awesome.
You have a good understanding of C and the challenges when writing low-level software (without an operating system, or as part of an operating system). If you don’t know what an interrupt is, or what a reset vector is, this position is probably not for you.
You are comfortable with understanding and reading circuit diagrams and data sheets. Moreover, you like to develop and learn new things, and especially for this position, you should enjoy helping your colleagues to grow, and to take help from your colleagues to help you grow.
As a person you are social and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team. For this position we will emphasis your personality.
