The Opportunity:
Your tasks will be to implement functionality in different ECUs where the implementation and testing can be done effectively in Sweden. Your focus will be on functions in the real-time systems, such as the engine, climate system, lights, etc. The development will be done in embedded C and sometimes with model based Matlab/Simulink.The systems can be complex and you need to be able to understand a complex codebase and find the right place in the architecture to do the changes. Regarding domain knowledge for a specific system, you will get good support from the teams . The important thing for you is that you enjoy embedded programming and systems so that you can adapt to the task and implement new functions and test them in a suitable way. A suitable way can vary between unit tests, SIL, HIL Riggs, bench tests, or in vehicles.
Requirements :
Good Embedded C programmer.
Speak and write English fluently.
Comfortable working with Matlab/Simulink.
University degree in engineering.
Relevant working experience is an advantage.
Good to know:
HIL, SIL, unit testing, CAN, ECU Diagnostics, Sensors and actuators, GitLab CI/CD, Application layer, Middleware, Low-level SW, Polarion, Jira
Feel free to shine with these skills
Chinese, Embedded systems development at Scania, truck driving license, experience within automotive ECUs, Open source contributions, or cool projects where you did C programming.
