hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Sony Mobile Communications, Lund i Lund We are looking for an Embedded Device Expert to strengthen our expertise in creating innovative and efficient solutions in the Internet of Things area. In this role you will work with both long term research activities and development projects for new businesses. You will work closely with other experts in the Research organization as well as the Design, Development and Business teams supporting our innovation projects.
What You Will Do:
You will focus on identifying, defining and conducting research activities in the device area within the domain of Internet of Things. The main objective of these activities is to create components which provide value and insights to our research and development projects. Other deliverables from these activities include intellectual property creation and open source contributions. Your expertise will also be used in various discussions related to our strategy and project execution.
You will be a very active part of our innovation projects. In these projects you will create solutions together with the team, to fulfill specific functional goals.
You will also assume ownership of some existing software components and continuously work to improve them.
Who You Are:
• You have a PhD degree, or a Master's degree with preferably 4+ years of experience in a research or advanced development role
• You have a strong proven competence in embedded software architecture and development from concept to production
• You are a good communicator, comfortable to interact with business people, designers, engineers and other stakeholders
• You have experience in the area of intellectual property creation, standardization and open source contributions.
• We believe that you have solid knowledge in areas like C programming of resource constrained systems, RTOS, wireless networking, MQTT and AWS IoT.
Great emphasis will be put on personal suitability.
