To meet an increase in demand we need to hire skilled co-workers to our laboratory in Östersund.
Your role
As an electronics Engineer EMC (Electro Magnetic Compatibility), you will plan and perform EMC tests in our laboratories on objects ranging from electronic components to large vehicles. When you start working with us, during the training phase, you will act as an assistant in customer projects. As you develop and learn the job, your responsibilities in the projects will increase. Eventually you will function as a project leader and have full project responsibilities towards our customers. Your main tasks will be to plan, perform and report EMC tests in our test laboratories.

Your profile
To be successful in your role as an EMC Engineer, you are structured, self-propelled and have a desire to "understand and get the job done".
The work is performed in close collaboration with customers and colleagues, which requires a high degree of social skills and ability to make yourself understood on different technical levels.
Required skills:
* Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written.
* A few years of experience in working with radio- or electronic systems.
* B-Driver's license
Desired skills:
* Amateur radio certificate
* Experience in writing technical reports
* Experience in laboratory work
What you will be a part of
To meet an increase in the demand for technical services in the EMC field, the EMC laboratory in Östersund needs to hire skilled co-workers. Furthermore, the laboratory is planning to build new laboratories to keep up with the fast technical development in the communication field.
You will be part of a group consisting of ten co-workers working with EMC - issues. One part of the laboratory work is to perform accredited EMC testing of different products. The products vary from small electronic components to large military vehicles, and are verified against military (MIL) and civil standards (EN / ISO etc). Another part of the laboratory work is to offer our customers consultancy services and development testing to solve EMC related challenges.
The laboratory has Swedish as well as international customers.
Please note that selection and interviews will be performed in August.
