The Technology and Innovation Automation department leads the development and maintenance of Epiroc's Automation Platform. Your mission
Our mission is to ensure a stable and up-to-date Automation Platform for both hardware and software, supporting our customers with top-notch service throughout the lifecycle of our products. As an Electronics Designer, your primary responsibility is to uphold the availability of hardware within our Automation Platform. Engage in maintaining and evolving current and future hardware, with a specific focus on MCU-based I/O products. Collaborate closely with colleagues in the Hardware team, Automation department designers, and stakeholders from various divisions. Your success hinges on a profound understanding of our customer's needs. Our strong partnerships with EMS suppliers and our sourcing team empower us to maintain the availability of our products over time.

Your profile
As our ideal candidate for the role of Electronics Designer, you should possess a Bachelor or Master of Science in Electronic Engineering or a related field. Your professional journey includes a robust background in the development of electronics specifically tailored for harsh environments. We highly value your in-depth understanding of electronic production processes, which will undoubtedly contribute to the success of our projects.
Experience with microcontrollers such as STM32 and AM263x/Hercules is considered highly beneficial for this role. In addition to your technical expertise, we are seeking a team player with a genuine desire to contribute to collaborative efforts. Your openness to learning and improving, coupled with a penchant for effective collaboration with diverse teams, will play a pivotal role in the dynamic environment at Epiroc. Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden.
