hela Sverige On behalf of our client ABB Power Systems, Adecco is searching for a qualified Electromechanical Designer. You will be part of Substations in Västerås. The business unit markets, sells, designs and delivers complete transformer stations for distribution and transmission grids. The complete transformer stations mainly encompasse high to medium voltage products, transformers, protection and control systems as well as construction and assembly work. The unit has approximately 200 employees.
Challenge: As Electromechanical Designer you will be responsible for the technical design of our unit?s substation plants. As the work is conducted in projects, with every case being unique, you will have a varying role. You will be responsible for all activities related to electromechanical design, which includes everything from outlined base design to final delivery. During projects, you will ensure that the technical solutions meet customer specific requirements and each country?s legislation. Occasionally, you will visit plants to provide on-site technical support. Examples of daily activities are to develop design drawings, generate basic documents for construction and perform electromechanical calculations. We offer a stimulating work where you will be in contact with both suppliers and customers in order to come up with successful solutions. At Substations, you will have the opportunity to test your designer skills in cutting-edge projects, both in Sweden and abroad.
Requirements: You have a technical high school diploma specialized in Mechanics or Electrical Power and several years? work experience within the industry. Alternatively, you hold a degree in Engineering with a major in one of the above mentioned subjects. It is qualifying with knowledge of substation and transformation plants or experience from the electrical power industry. Further, knowledge in CAD and especially Microstation, is advantageous. You need to be fluent in Swedish and have good knowledge in English, written and spoken alike. On a personal level, you are goal-oriented, creative and quality-conscious. You enjoy working in projects, where your collaboration skills and structured work methods are of great use and highly valued by your coworkers.
