Duties:
As an electrical technician at FMT, you work with maintenance, repairs, optimizations as well as new production of the company's various products. Main responsibilities include:
• Performing planned service activities together with the mechanical team
• Performing emergency maintenance or other service tasks requirements related to electrical systems
• Attending practical discussions around electrical systems with our in-house design engineers
• Assisting the purchasing specialist in identifying correct parts for electrical system
• Assisting production processes where electrical expertise is required
The position includes trips of varying length mainly within Europe and to North America.
The company has two service cars that can be used when needed.
Education, experience and personal characteristics:
• Work experience in electrical installation/maintenance
• Driving license (category B)
• You speak and write freely in Swedish and English
• Experience in automation or the process industry is advantageous
• Education corresponding to: The electricity and energy program
We are looking for a person who enjoys taking responsibility for the work tasks and ensures that everything is completed with good quality. In the role of traveling service technician, you are often on the move and feel comfortable with that. You have a lot of contact with customers, and are happy to start a conversation. You have good communication skills, are comfortable with other people and feel relaxed in social situations.
