Electrical System Design is responsible for design and verification of complete electrical system, i.e. development of complete electrical architecture, both electrical and galvanic, connectivity, base technologies within electrical hardware and software as well as defining requirements for subsystems and components to secure that all included parts in the complete electrical system interacts properly. The architecture is the base for all functionality that will be realised within the electrical system e.g. by software, electronics and electrical components. It controls and guides the detailed design in all areas for the complete electrical system.
Volvo Car Group is having a very positive momentum with several new car programs in the near future. We are therefore looking for 20 Engineers within Electrical Architecture Design, Wired and Wireless based Technology Design, Diagnostics, SW Design, SW Security & Privacy, System Safety, Electrical HW Design, EMC, Electrical Simulations and Verification.
Required qualifications
* M.Sc. in electrical, software, physics or similar
* Experience from design, verification or simulation
* Experience from electrical engineering/architecture and distributed systems
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* Driver license B
Meritorious qualifications
* Experience within the automotive industry
* Autosar
* System Safety (ISO 26262)
* Information Security
* IT infrastructures
* HW design
* Wired & Wireless technologies
* Internet Protocols
* UML tools as Rhapsody or Enterprise Architect
* Logical architecture, object oriented methodology and modelling
Personal qualities
* Strong communication skills and social competence
* Drive for results, open minded and innovative
* Teamwork oriented
* Focused on results and work in structured way
