This position is located in Gimo and occasional international travel is a natural part of the job.
Your challenge
For every machine we create, a cross-functional project team takes full ownership for its entire lifecycle: covering design, construction, manufacturing, programming and installation, as well as the aftermarket and, finally, dismantling. In this position, you are an active partner in these innovative teams and bring your competence in electrical engineering and, perhaps, even automation to the table. Together with the team, you have a great opportunity to influence the technical solution for that specific project, as you are part of the entire design process. You work closely with the customer: identifying the true requirements, selecting proper components, constructing the electrical solution, documenting your work in CAD and verifying results against set standards. In addition, you are highly involved in the installation and implementation at the customer site.
We are looking for someone with education in electrical engineering or equivalent knowledge gained from a working career. You have a couple of years' practical experience from technical engineering and development, and it is favorable if your current or previous assignment includes working with machine automation. You may also benefit from experience with service and maintenance. Furthermore, you are used to working and documenting designs in an electrical CAD tool and we consider it a plus if you are familiar with machine control. As we act on the international stage, you need to communicate well in English, both verbally and in writing, while good skills in Swedish would facilitate your work in Gimo.
