About the position:
As our Electrical Engineer, you will be an imported part in various projects together with dedicated and motivated colleagues both locally and globally, and report to the Engineering Manager. You will be responsible for supporting and developing the entire Textron GSE-Safeaero product line, understanding the importance of interaction between electronics, purchasing, mechanics and design.
Occasional travel to customer sites as required
Some of your responsibilities:
Project Management
• Execute small scale projects with on time delivery
Existing Product support
• Product enhancements
• Subsystem updates (e.g. Electrical schematics of hydraulic system/cooling system/pneumatics/braking)
• Subsystem adaptation
• Optimization
• Development of testing schemes
Production support
• Annual production work quota
• Shop floor troubleshooting as-needed
• QA assistance for problematic parts
• Technical assistance with prototype build-ups
• Development of documentation materials to assist with production and technical documentation
• Fast turn-around on production generated ECO 's
Sales support
Service Support
Miscellaneous
Your Profile:
You have a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, preferably with focus in automation or similar education.
You have at least five years documented working experience in which Autodesk Inventor/AutoCAD has played a large role. International experience and/or project experience is a benefit. If you have experience from PLM/PDM tools (Teamcenter desirable) and design/incorporate electrical/electronic subsystems it is meritorious.
This position requires an orderly and structured person with a strong drive and an innovative mind. Furthermore, you need to be positive with a 'can-do ' mindset and great judgment, good social and communication skills and a flexible and creative approach.
Candidates with broad electrical experience will naturally have an advantage, and those from the automotive or electromechanical industry even more so, but the most important thing is that you are passionate about you work and profession!
You must have professional working proficiency in both Swedish and English
