Electrical Engineer for Aker Solutions, Copenhagen

Aker Solutions are in search of an Electrical Engineer for our department for design of controls for process systems in the oil & gas industry.
Your main responsibilities will include automation and development of the company's process systems. As part of this position, travel activity of 10-20 days per year should be expected.
Your profile:
You have experience as a team leader or function manager
Vast experience with process systems in the oil & gas industry, or related sectors
You enjoy leading a team to deliver results in a project environment.
Presumably, you are an Electrical Engineer
Self-motivating, flexible and cooperative
Result oriented, committed and taking responsibility
Innovative, can implement new ideas and turn these into workable solutions
Effective in oral and written communication
Experience and knowledge:
Vast experience in construction of low-voltage switchgear and control gear as well as regulation instruments
Experienced Siemens PLC programmer
Preferred experience in design of electrical installations for explosive areas, including knowledge of the ATEX directive
You must have good command of English
Knowledge of German would be beneficial
Your primary tasks will be:
Leading a small team (2-3 persons) of dedicated employees to deliver results and develop our product in the electrical & instrumentation discipline
Automation of process systems via PLC and PC-based systems, through programming and preparation of logic and cause/action diagrams
Design of control and MCC boards
Advising colleagues and customers in technical matters such as electrical, control, instrumentation and pneumatics
The work will take place in project groups as well as individually when handling service and advisory assignments for, e.g., our subsidiaries.
