We are now looking for an
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
for our Ballast Water Treatment application PureBallast
Responsibilities
As an Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for electrical system design related questions for our Ballast Water Treatment application, PureBallast. The work relates to the complete system as well as relevant components and subcomponents. The work includes contacts to sales and service staff, suppliers and production on a regular basis.
The main work tasks:
• Design and documentation of the electrical system and components,
• Product support for our sales- and service organization,
• Technical support in field test, system testing and commissioning,
• Documentation and specifications towards suppliers and production.
Qualifications
You have education in electrical engineering with experience from electrical- and automation systems. For this role you have experience from both designing electrical systems and from practical installations. It is preferred that you have marine experience and production of marine products.
You will be employed by Wallenius Water, but this position is entirely dedicated for a company called AlfaWall. This company is owned by Wallenius Water and Alfa Laval in a joint venture and is based in Alfa Laval’s facilities in Tumba, Stockholm. The business environment is highly international so you have high skills in English both in speech and in writing. As a person you have an outgoing personality with high skills in communication and the ability to work on your own initiative. You will join a team of skilled and highly motivated colleagues and work in a challenging, fast moving and developing business.
