Visual act is looking for a Electrical Engineer.
University Degree
• Bachelor or masters in Electrical Engineering or similar field.
• Robotics, electromechanical or Automation is also valued.
Skills
• Design electrical schematics in electrical CAD software
• Go from a concept to a finished electrical design
• Has an electrical license in Sweden is very valued but not necessary
• Construct electrical panel for prototyping
• Possesses basic mechanical skills
• Understand various types of cable preparation (shielding, crimping, electrical ratings)
• Understand single phase, three phase and DC power distribution
• Understand synchronous and asynchronous motors
• Understand drive systems to run motors (Frequency converters or direct driving)
• Understand different types of rotary and linear encoders
• Understand different types of Industrial bus such as Profibus, Modbus, CAN and EtherCAT
• Can basic design of electronic schematics and PCB layout
• Can draw in Zuken E3 is a plus
• Can draw in Eagle CAD is a plus
• Can make good measurements with DMM or oscilloscope
• Basic programming skills and can navigate well under both Windows and Linux
General Requirements
• Lives in the Stockholm region or willing to relocate to Stockholm
• Has a valid car license
• Has a permanent residence in Sweden (in regards to travel and visas)
• Understand the importance of quality and is detailed oriented
• Willing to travel, even with short notice
• Can be on telephone support when required
• Can work well in a team environment and interact with other departments like software or mechanics.
• Is not afraid of heights
• Can handle stress and stressful situations
• Can embrace other cultures when travelling abroad and adapt to the situation
• Understand the importance or organization and cleanliness
• Has skills in English for reading, writing, and speaking
• Other languages is a plus
