In the area of Concrete Floor Grinding and Polishing Equipment, we are the global market leader and have a clear strategy to further expand our position. The R&D team consists of 13 engineers and we are now looking for a highly motivated Electrical Engineer.
Job description
You will be involved in the whole development process from market needs, idea generation, electrical system concept design, prototype build and real life testing in machines. The job includes tight cooperation with different parts of the organization such as project and product management, industrial design, aftermarket and manufacturing but also with suppliers, customers and external certification bodies. There will be excellent opportunities to grow your competence and to do something different, always with a lot of variation in your daily work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Requirement breakdown from market to system level
Electrical system design and component specification
• Ensure the design is functionally safe and compliant with applicable products standards
• Product certification related to the electrical system
• Enable use of common components and platforms
• Build and test machine prototypes
• Contribute to the technology roadmap and align with the long term product roadmap
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing products
Who are you?
We believe that you are a skilled problem solver who enjoy working with challenging problems. You like to take initiatives and drive your work forward as much as you enjoy working together as a team.
Qualifications:
• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar and at least three years of relevant experience
• Excellent knowledge in electrical drive systems, e.g. variable frequency drives and motors
• Experience from electrical safety and EMC
• Good knowledge in electronics and communication technologies
• Programming knowledge, e.g. Python and C/C++
• Experience from lean and agile product development
• Technology curiosity and experience from working hands-on
