The position
In the role as Electrical designer, you are responsible for producing electrical drawings for our packaging machines and technical documentation. In close collaboration with your colleagues in the Technical Design team - automation engineers and mechanical designers - you'll develop new solutions for tomorrow's packaging machines. The role includes electrical design of packaging lines in customer projects, smaller machines for our packaging material production and packaging testing lab, as well as design improvements of existing machines to increase productivity. With new challenges in every customer project it is a diverse role with eventful days.

You will also:
• Work with electrical power calculations
• Follow up on applicable regulations regarding machine safety and make safety calculations
• Carry out isolation tests, commissioning, SPDI (Supplier Preliminary Design Inspection) for machines with respect to electrical systems
• Issue test protocols and approvals for the machines electrical systems
• Further develop electrical and automation systems

The position is full time and a permanent position.

Your background and skills
We are looking for a goal oriented, enthusiastic and driven new member to our team. We believe that you are a problem solver who benefit from your analytical ability, that like to work with structure and accuracy.

With new challenges in every project, we are looking for you that:
• Have a college electrical engineering degree or equivalent education in combination with work experience in relevant professional practice
• Are trained and experienced in electrical design
• Have an understanding and experience in PLC programming, preferably for B&R control systems
• Have experience with basic servo systems
• Have good computer skills, mainly in Excel, Word, WS CAD and ELProCAD electrical application programs.
• Are fluent in English in speech and writing and have excellent communication skills
