Plant Technology is a function within HVDC that works with development and market support within plant businesses. Among other things we lead the work with modulation, electromechanical sound measurements, base documentation, working methods and instructions as well as development, administration and support within PLM and CAD tools for mechanics. Plant Technology currently has 30 coworkers and consultants.
As construction manager within electromechanical engineering, your main tasks will be to lead the development work and support the department in issues regarding to electromechanical plant constructions. You will have technical responsibility and ensure timely delivery, budget and that our work methods are followed. Together with your coworkers you will create constructions and layouts as well as become an important link between our function and HVDC's development department. As part of our projects, you will have the opportunity to work with competent colleagues and world class technology. In addition, you will have the privilege to travel when participating in project meetings and visiting plants.
Requirements
You have a Bachelor in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. As you will have a broad global network you also need to be proficient in English. Additionally, it is positive if you have knowledge in German or any other languages. Currently you are working as construction leader for large plant projects or within electromechanical plant construction. It is also a strong plus if you can add experience within development work. Beyond the formal requirements you should have solid collaboration skills, as you will become our link that make HVDC's projects possible. You should also have leadership skills and confidence in you role as well as a structured way of working.
