Job summary:
As Editor and Content Manager, you will have the editorial and strategic responsibility associated with our print and online platforms for our Swedish customer magazine, Volvo Magasin, and the responsibility for adding value to our customers and ambassadors and creating engagement in Volvo Car Sweden's social media channels through PR-based content and corporate stories.
The PR & Communication department supports all business areas within Volvo Car Sweden with the mission to deliver world class communication that engages, reaches out and increases the knowledge and awareness of the company, our business and our products and services in an appealing and premium way. We are a high performing team who act humble, positive and with self-confidence. The team consists of five people, all reporting to Director PR & Communication.
Main responsibilities
* Editor for the Swedish customer magazine Volvo Magasin, print and online version
* Secure and define future strategies and purposes for the customer magazine in all relevant channels
* Drive engagement and add value in our social media channels with PR-based messages according to set strategies
* Be part of marketing and brand projects securing a strategic and effective PR approach working for traditional media and new media landscape
* Create PR content and messages adapted for social media
* Define angles and content for native advertising, planned by the Marketing department.
* Create, adapt and secure news presented for media also are available for customers on volvocars.se
Required Qualifications
* University degree in a relevant area such as marketing or journalism.
* Experienced editor within the PR & social media area.
* Excellent and creative copy writing skills, primarily in Swedish but also in English.
* A sense for creating news and content that creates value and engage our target groups.
* Project leader skills.
